There were games to play; hook a duck; tennis tournament; nerf guns; treasure hunt; penalty shootout; cake sale; cricket; face painting; book sale and lots of fun.
Community Tennis Club
Saturday April 30th 2016
The Friends of Spencer Park Community Tennis Club was launched at the Earlsdon Festival. Taster sessions for bowling and tennis were held as well as lots of children’s activities. We also had our Festival stall in the High Street on Monday May 2nd. Club members will pay £25 per family for the summer’s tennis, which they can access with a code number. We hope to set up an online booking system. We also hope to set up some Saturday coaching sessions as we did last summer.
Easter Egg Hunt

Our Easter egg hunt on Good Friday was very successful with 81 children attending. Now that the weather is improving and the evenings are longer the children’s playground is proving to be very popular with younger children and their families. The Crown Green bowling group is flourishing and plans for the Flat Green are underway. It is good to see the park being used by a wide variety of groups.
